QUADRILLE ACADIEN. AKA and see "Reel du carnaval." French-Canadian, Reel. The tune is from the playing of Quebec fiddler Jospeh Allard (1873-1947), recorded in Montréal in 1928 as "Quadrille acadien" (Victor 263543), and again in 1937 under the title "Reel du carnaval" (Bluebird B-1123).
