DRAGGER'S REEL. Canadian, Reel. Canada, Prince Edward Island. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Eddy Arsenault. Perlman (1996) remarks that Arsenault, a fiddler and lobster fisherman born in 1921, received the inspiration for this tune one day while "dragging" for cod and hake. The tune has currency in Prince County, P.E.I., today. See also note for similar or related tune "Hughie Shorty's Reel."
