LE PULLEY'S FANCY.' English, Country Dance Tune (6/8 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Mr. Le Pulley was a London dancing master who is mentioned in newspapers and advertisements from the 1780 through the turn of the 19th century. He advertised in The Morning Post (January 10, 1804) instruction in "Country Dances, Reels, Jiggs, Hornpipes, Strathspeys, Gavots, Minuets, Cotillons, Quadrilles, Ballets, and a variety of fancy Irish and Scotch Dances"
