COLEBURN, THE. Scottish, Slow Air (4/4 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. The melody was composed by fiddler William Macpherson (1919–1974) of Elgin. The Coleburn or 'hazel'burn is a small stream in Morayshire, remarks Neil (1991).
