AKA and see "Blast of Wind (A)," "Clout (The)," "Cock in the Heath (2)," "The Humours of Caledon," "The Humours of Westmeath," "Kiss in the Furz [1]," "The Rakes of Westmeath [1]." Irish, Slip Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The "Drops of Springwater" comes from James Kelly and Paddy O'Brien, who say they got the tune from Paddy Moloney. See "The Clout" for the earliest appearance of this tune family.
