WILLY'S THE LAD FOR ME. English, Air (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. The song appears in The Muses Delight (1754) and numerous other songsters of mid- and latter-19th century. It was also printed on song sheets advertised as "sung at Vauxhall" (i.e. Vauxhall pleasure gardens).
