MORRISON'S (REEL) [3]. AKA and see "Carracastle Lass," "Joe O'Dowd's Reel," "Lady Mary Montague," "Lass of Carracastle," "Miss Langford." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was called "Morrison's" on De Danann's 1978 album "Star Spangled Molly," a reference to New York fiddler James "The Professor" Morrison (1891–1947), originally from south County Sligo. Morrison recorded the reel for Columbia Records in New York in 1935, under the title "Miss Langford."
