REEL DES HABITANTS. AKA - "Habitants Reel (The)." AKA and see “uque rouge (La)." French-Canadian, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB: AABB. The tune was recorded by Montreal fiddler Joseph Allard (1865-1947) for Victor, released twice; in 1929 for Victor records, and again in 1936 on the subsidiary label, Bluebird. J.O La Madeleine [1] (Irish reel).
