TAYLOR'S MARCH [4], THE. AKA and see "Beware of the Ripples," "Rippels (The)." Scottish, March (6/8 time). The tune was employed by poet Robert Burns for his song "The Tailor" ("The Taylor fell thro' the bed, thimble an' a'"), published in Johnson's Scots Musical Museum, vol. III (Song 212, p. 221).
