RISING SUN [6]. AKA and see "Boys of Ballynahinch (The)," "Mullin's Fancy," "Packie Dolan's," "Strawberry Blossom (1) (The)." Irish, Reel (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was recorded in New York under this title for New Republic Records in 1925 by flute player Tom Morrison (backed on piano by Ed Geohegan). Fiddler Packie Dolan recorded a version on 78 RPM as "Mullin's Fancy," but both are versions of "Boys of Ballnahinch (The)" AKA "Strawberry Blossom (1) (The)."
