FAREWELL TO THE TROUBLES OF THE WORLD (Slán agus Beannacht de Buairidhibh a' tSaoghail). AKA and see "Daniel O'Connell's Welcome to Parliament," "Farewell to My Troubles," "O'Connell's Welcome, "O'Connell's Welcome to Parliament (1)." Irish, Air or Jig. D Major/Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. The title is a recurrent line of several songs set to the melody. O'Neill printed a nearly identical version of the melody as "Farewell to My Troubles."
