BELTED PLAID, THE. Scottish, Reel (cut time). A Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Aberdeenshire fiddler-composer biography:Alexander Walker. Walker may have perhaps meant it as the companion reel to his strathspey "Sporran Mullach (The)," since they are consecutively placed in his 1866 publication.
