EASTER HOLY DAYS. English, Country Dance Tune (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The country dance is unique to London publisher Charles and Samuel Thompson's 1765 collection. However, a hornpipe called "Duke of York's Hornpipe (The)" employs a first strain that is similar to that of "Easter Holy Days."
