HANLEY'S HORNPIPE. Irish, Hornpipe (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody appears in the mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork uilleann piper and Church of Ireland cleric James Goodman [1]. The first strain of "Hanley's" is cognate with the first strains of "Greencastle Hornpipe" and "Mountain Hornpipe."
