Tune properties and standard notation

EXECUTORS, THE. English, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. A reel of unknown provenance (although it may be English, based on stylistic reasons), in the published works of uilleann piper O'Farrell, about whom little is known (not even his first name). O'Farrell is recorded as playing for several London theatrical productions in the 1790's, and he likely made a living as a stage and concert musician in that city.
