DENIS O'KEEFFE'S SLIDE. AKA - "Denis O'Keeffe's Favourite," "Eibhlín ni Riordáin's," "Dinny O'Keefe's." Irish, Slide (12/8 time). Ireland, Sliabh Luachra region of the Cork-Kerry border. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. Denis O'Keefe was a button accordion player from Rathmore in Sliabh Luachra who played a single-row Globe Gold Medal accordion brought to him from the United States in the 1930's[1] Cork accordion player Jackie Daly recorded the tune under the title "Forget Your Troubles."
