SANNY SPEIRS. Scottish, Strathspey (whole time). G Major (‘A’ part) & E Minor (‘B’ part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB’. Composed by A.M. Volti, whose name may be another pseudonym for violinist and music teacher biography:Carl Volti (1848-1919), whose original name was Archibald Milligan (thus "A.M."). Volti penned a number of melodies that were printed in the Kerr’s collections, but also issued music tutors and popular collections on his own.
