SANDYMOUNT, THE. AKA and see "Sandpiper (The)," "Mick Hand's Reel." Irish, Reel (cut time). A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Recorded by the Ballinakill Céilí Band (East Galway) in Dublin, 1938. The band’s founding members were Anna Rafferty, Stephen Maloney, Tommy Whelan, Tommy Whyte, and Jerry Maloney.
