NIGHTS OF GLADNESS [4]. Irish, Quadrille Figure. The fourth part of a quadrille set. Alan Jabbour finds the second (also the fourth) strain to be a version of the tune that Appalachian fiddler Henry Reed played as "Santa Anna's Retreat."
