SANAS CUAIN (The Message of the Sea). Scottish, Air (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle) . One part. Composed by Hamish Johnston after an outing to Calgary Bay in the north of the island of Mull. The Gaelic words to the tune ask the question 'What would the people, who were forced to leave these shores, think of the island today?'.
