REEL EN LA d’ISIDORE SOUCY. French-Canadian, Reel. A Major. Standard or AEae tuning (fiddle). AABB. A ‘crooked’ or irregular metered tune, with two measures with an extra beat in the first strain and one in the second strain. The tune uses melodic motifs from Soucy's "Set américain 3ème partie (Soucy)," recorded by him for Starr Records in Montreal in 1925.
