CLOG DE WILLIAM DURETTE. AKA and see "Champagne Clog," "Tomorrow Morning Hornpipe." French-Canadian, Clog (cut time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is Montreal accordion player biography: Alfred Montmarquette's reworking of "Champagne Clog," which was recorded by accordionist Joseph Plante in 1928, a few years prior to Montmarquette's version. It is a versatile melody and has been played as a barn dance, schottische, German and hornpipe, and has gained a foothold in Irish repertoire.
