REEL ECOSSAIS, LA (The Scottish Reel). AKA and see "Miss Drummond of Perth." French-Canadian, Scottish; Strathspey. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BCC'BCC'. This is Montreal fiddler Jospeh Allard's (1873-1947) version of the Scottish strathspey "Miss Drummond of Perth," played quickly, almost at reel speed.
