FARMER HAYES (Feilmoir Ui Aeda). AKA and see "Fig For All My Foes (A)," "God Be with Old Ireland," "I'm Now in the Land of Liberty," "Poor Pat Must Emigrate." Irish, Slow Air (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. "Raking Paudheen Rue" is a cognate tune, according to Francis O'Neill, who thought they came from a common origin, along with "McKenna's Dream," "Raking Red-haired Pat," and "Bold Undaunted Fox (The)."
