Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The title comes from a song, "Farmer Michael Hayes." "Raking Paudheen Rue" is a cognate tune, according to Francis O'Neill, who thought they came from a common origin, along with "McKenna's Dream," "Raking Red-haired Pat," and "Bold Undaunted Fox (The)."
