FISHERMAN'S ISLAND. AKA and see "Reavy's," "Fisherman's Harvest." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. One of the more popular compositions of County Cavan/Philadelphia fiddler and composer Ed Reavy (1898-1988). The tune appears in Bernard Flaherty's Trip to Sligo (1990) under the title "Fisherman's Harvest." It is often called, as are many of his compositions, simply as "Reavy's."
