KEEP OFF THE GRASS. American, Reel. USA, southwestern Pa. C Major ('A' part) & A Minor ('B' part) {Bayard-Tustin}: G Major ('A' part) & E Minor ('B' part) {Bayard-Shape}. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Bayard (1981) believes this tune has a "general, yet noticeable" resemblance to the Scottish "Balquhidder Lasses" (which in turn has a resemblance to "Johnny Cope (1)").
