REEL POPULAIRE. French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). B Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). "Reel populaire" was recorded by multi-instrumentalist Robert Lemieux in Montreal in 1935. Lemieux played accordion on this recording (with uncredited piano accompaniment), but he also played an excellent fiddle on many of his recordings.
