MRS. ANDERSON'S STRATHSPEY--OF FOCHABERS. Scottish, Slow Strathspey. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by William Marshall (1748-1833). Mrs. Anderson was the wife of Reverend John Anderson, a teacher of the young Marshall (Cowie, The Life and Times of William Marshall, 1999).
