GALBALLY LASSES (Na Cailinide Ua Gall-Baile). Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC (O'Neill/1850): AA'BB'C (O'Neill/Krassen).

Source for notated version: "Cronin" [O'Neill]. Chicago fiddler Edward Cronin was originally from Limerick Junction, County Tipperary, born in the 1840's. O'Neill thought highly of his playing and transcribed many tunes from his vast repertory, but Cronin could also be suspicious and a somewhat inconstant individual.

Printed sources: O'Neill (Krassen), 1976; p. 151. O'Neill (Music of Ireland: 1850 Melodies), 1903; No. 1501, p. 277.
