The melody was collected as an air entitled "[[ by George Petrie (Stanford/Petrie, Complete Collection, 1905, No. ). See also the same first strain in "Oíche Nollag," "Strawberry Blossom (2)," "Mill Stream" and Petrie's (1905) untitled airs No. 154 and No. 258.
