SHIELS OWER DA BAR. Shetland, Shetland Reel. Researcher Peter Cooke notes the similarity of the title to that of the Northunbrian song "Sailors are all at the bar (The)", in the John Bell (1783-1864) music manuscript collection [1] (the name refers to sand bars at the mouth of the Tyne). The Shetland reel title "Sail Her ower da Raft Trees" is also somewhat similar.
