GENERAL MACDONALD('S REEL) [1]. Scottish, Reel. C Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Neil Gow (1727-1807). By the time of the Skye Collection (1887) many of Gow's syncopations had been "smoothed out."
