REEL DU REVEILLON. French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A tune from the playing of Montreal fiddler J.O. LaMadeleine (1880-1973), who recorded it in late 1939 (released by Starr Records in early 1940). It is a member of the "<incipit title="load:madame" width=850 link="https://tunearch.org/wiki/Madame Renaud">Madame Renaud</incipit>" tune family, albeit relatively distanced.
