TULLEYNET/TULLEYMET HALL. Scottish, Reel (cut time). A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Athole, Gow): AABB' (Kerr). One of the two most famous melodies (with "Ayr Races") composed by Niel Gow's fourth son, biography:John Gow (1764-1826). He, along with his older brother Andrew, established in 1788 the London branch of the Gow family publishing concern, and was the distributor in that city for the Gow publications (although they also printed other material) that were also published in Edinburgh.
