ARKANSAS TURNBACK. American, Reel (cut time). USA, Missouri. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Galbraith’s source, Bill (Willy) Bilyeu, indicated the title was his, although he thought the tune was some “old hornpipe” (Beisswenger & McCann, 2008). Bilyeu was a "senior member of a legendary clan of Ozark fiddlers and a fiddler recorded by Vance Randolph in 1943"[1].
