COBBLER'S HORNPIPE [2], THE. AKA and see "Willie Winkie's Testament (2)," "Willy Wilky." English, Reel or Hornpipe. England, Northumberland. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Scots versions appear under the alternate title in strathspey settings. Northumbrian musician William Vickers included the tune in his music manuscript under the title "Willy Wilky; or, Cobbler's Hornpipe" [1], albeit in substantially un-dotted rhythm.
