GIGUE À MA TANTE ALFREDA, LA. French-Canadian, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. A 'crooked' tune with the first part in cut time and the second in 3/4 time. Guy Bouchard notes that the tune is one that is not very melodic but is very well suited to the Sayguenay region step-dancing style. Recorded by Louis Boudreault.

Source for notated version: fiddler Lisa Ornstein [Remon & Bouchard].

Printed sources: Remon & Bouchard (Airs Tordus: 25 Crooked Tunes, vol. 2), 1997; No. 3.
