PULLET AND THE COCK, THE. AKA - "Pullet run from the cock." AKA and see "Drag Her Around the Road (1)," "Shores of Lough Graney," "Tarraing thar timpeall an bhóthair í." Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune is an early version of the reel best known nowadays as "Drag Her Around the Road (1)." As "Pullet run from the cock" the tune was entered into Book 2 of the large c. 1883 music manuscript collection of County Leitrim fiddler and piper biography:Stephen Grier.
