CUPIDO. AKA and see "Bang Up (4) Hornpipe." American, Hornpipe. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Cupido is a Latin word meaning 'desire'. The hornpipe was first published in England as "Bang Up (4) Hornpipe" and was printed under that title in W. Blackman's A Selection of Most Favorite Hornpipes for the Violin (c. 1810-22).
