GLEBE, THE. Canadian, Reel. Canada, Cape Breton. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by Cape Breton fiddler and composer Dan R. MacDonald (1911-1976). A 'glebe' was a piece of property assigned by the community for the support of the local cleric [1].
