WE'RE NO VERY FOU, BUT WE'RE GAYLY YET. AKA – "Bide ye yet," "Laird of Skene's Favorite." Scottish, Air and Jig ("Slowly"). D Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The song appears in 18th century songsters such as The Blackbird (1771) and The Gold-finch (1777).
