MRS. MURRAY OF ARCHENTYRE'S REEL. AKA - "Mrs. Murray of Auchentryre's Reel." AKA and see "Miss Murray of Auchtertyre's Strathspey." Scottish, English; Reel (cut time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This is a reel setting of the tune usually played as a strathspey. It is attributed to (and claimed by) Perthshire fiddler-composer John Bowie (1757-1815).
