CORN ON THE COB. AKA and see "Logger's Breakdown." American, Reel/Breakdown. USA, North Dakota. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Pancerzewski learned this tune from the Nelson brothers in North Dakota before 1920. It resembles "Logger's Breakdown," recorded by Canadian fiddler Don Messer in the 1940's. It was also reportedly in the repertoire of Texas fiddler Eck Robertson and his father, also a fiddler, about 1920.

Source for notated version: Nelson brothers, prior to 1920 (Grinnell, North Dakota) [Pancerzewski].

Printed sources: Pancerzewski (Pleasures of Home), 1988; p. 14.
