MR. THOMAS JARVIS'S REEL. Scottish, Reel (whole time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. "Mr. Thomas Jarvis" is a reel from the sole publication of fiddler-composer John Clark, who dedicated his volume to the Musical Society of Perth. Unfortunately, there is no further information to be had on Clark (John Glen and David Baptie are silent). See also Clark's composition for another member of the family, "Miss Mary Jarvis' Reel."
