SWEENEY'S POLKA [1]. AKA and see “Bridge O'Leary's Polka,” “Ballydesmond Polka (4),” Irish, Polka. Ireland, west Kerry. A Major (most versions): G Major (Taylor/Tweed, Tubridy). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. One of the most widely known Sliabh Luachra (Kerry) polkas. The Chieftains have recorded this tune under the "Sweeney's Polka" title.
