{{TuneAnnotation |f_annotation=REEL DES ARTISANS. Canadian, Reel (cut time). Canada, Quebec. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. "Reel des artisans" is from the playing of the group biography:Chevaliers du folklore, whose members wereaccordion player Tommy Duchesne (1909-1986), guitaristTony Ouellette and fiddler Albert Allard. Duchesne also had a long solo recording career. The tune has some melodic and harmonic similarities to "[[Traveller (1) (The)"/"Reel des ouvriers", but it is a distinctive tune. The reel is not to be confused with Isidore Soucy's "Gigue des artisans" which is a version of "Traveller (1) (The)," albeit a 'crooked' (irregular meter) version in Soucy's style. }}
