REEL TARTES AUX POMMES (Apple Pie Reel). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Tartes aux pommes" is Allard's version of "Lardner's Reel," printed in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (Boston, 1883). The first strain is also similar to (and probably cognate with) the first strain of "Aldridge's Hornpipe (1)."
