GORMAN'S REEL [1] (Ríl Uí Ghormáin). Irish, Reel. D Major or Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Taylor, Tubridy): AAB (Breathnach). Breathnach states that his source Ryan described "Gormans" as "a very old tune."

Source for notated version: flute player M.J. Ryan, 1966 (Ballymote, Co. Sligo, Ireland) [Breathnach]; set dance music recorded at Na Píobairí Uilleann, late 1980's [Taylor].
