GOWER REEL. AKA and see "Lumbers." Welsh, Reel. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Collected by the great English collector Maude Karpeles, a contemporary of and collaborator with Cecil Sharpe, at Port Eynon, Gower, Wales in 1927. The tune is a reel setting of "Rickett's Hornpipe" AKA "Manchester Hornpipe.
